David's coming home!!!

Hello all:

Well, only 1 more day and my David will be home in Huntsville. I’m very very excited and can’t wait to show him the new car and OUR house! =) Can’t wait for his reaction… He’s already left Afghanistan (I think) and he’ll be arriving here in HSV around 9p.m. tomorrow night. We’ve got lots of stuff going on this weekend and then next week, we’ll be going to Tunica, MS. It’s gonna be fun..

Lots of stuff going on here in HSV.. Finally got the house in order for David’s arrival… It actually looks like a “home” instead of a “house”.. Work is going pretty well. Had some training last week and that was interesting. Found out that I’ll be going to a Network+ bootcamp at the end of Feb (if we can get all the paperwork done with before Jan 31). I’m alittle nervous about it, but I’m sure I’ll do ok. Got a lot of stuff to work on here at work so it’s keeping me busy and all.. Other than that, it’s been going. Really been focusing on David and spending time with him.

My friend Donna is doing good. Her “little puppy” – Bacon had an ear infection, but I think he’s doing ok now (btw, little puppy = Great Pyrenees) J I call every dog a little puppy =) Speaking of puppies. David and I are looking to getting a puppy while he’s here. We’ll be looking at them after we get back from Tunica. I was telling David that it was “his job” to think of some names for our soon to be little puppy and he came up with the most weirdest names.. “Sapphire, Emerald, Vegas, Reno”.. LOL funny huh.. Yeah, why can’t we just call our puppy “Bob” or “John” ? hehehe, simpler the better, but we’ll see..

Well, figured that I would just post since I hadn’t done it in a while and probably won’t for a while, since David will be here. We’ll make sure that we take lots of pics while he’s here and I’ll post them on the PBASE site.
